Frequently asked questions
- What counts as a “member” for pricing?
- Everyone on your club's roster inside ShowSphere, minus the people who have left it. Lapsed, resigned and deceased members don't count, and neither does anybody in a dues grace or suspended standing. Everybody else does, including a pending applicant and anybody whose dues you haven't recorded yet — the count is who your club is administering, not who has paid.
- Does the 3% fee get added to our subscription bill?
- No. Your subscription price is the only thing ShowSphere charges your club directly. The 3% fee applies separately, only when an exhibitor or member pays for something through your club's storefront — dues, event fees, gate, and store sales. It's deducted from that transaction, not billed to the club. Stripe's own processing fee is separate too, and comes straight out of your club's account, same as any card processor.
- Can we change plans if our club membership size changes?
- Yes. Your plan follows your current roster size, so you can move up or down a tier at any time. The change takes effect straight away and Stripe prorates the difference, so you are never charged twice for the same month.
- Is there a setup fee or contract?
- No setup fees and no long-term contract. Monthly plans can be canceled anytime; yearly plans are billed once a year at the discounted rate.
- Where does the money we collect actually go?
- Straight into your club's own Stripe account, on Stripe's standard payout schedule. ShowSphere never holds your club's funds.
